Life stank in 2008.

I believe I'm finally ready to jump back into the blogging world. Basically, I wanted to ride out the New Year and clear most of the negative junk out of my head. I expect that 2009 will be great, and have more positive effects directly on my life, not based on any resolutions but based on changes I have already made over the last several months.

I'm not sure if I felt the need to create wild-crazy 20s because I had my first child right before I turned 21, but I made a lot of decisions last year that weren't very awesome. I'm not friends with anyone new I met during 2008, because they were all inconsiderate and very toxic of and to my family. At the start of November when I ditched the biggest problem friend, life changed back to the usual and I like it this way, as boring as it might be! 2008 wasn't all bad though either, I had a lot of good times but I feel my family life suffered and that is never okay. But we are closer as a family now then ever before.

In 2008,
*I got As in both of the classes I took Spring semester (but apparently that isn't enough classes for Dean's list) but it did inspire me to try tackling 4 courses during the Fall, which I surprised myself by handling well and making Dean's List!
* I worked harder at making amends with people from the past that I felt deserved it.
* I spent lots of time with the girls!
* We took a trip to Waterloo and had a blast while doing it!
* I started standing up for myself, and won't be walked on again by friends or family (about time to grow that backbone!)
* Bridget rolled, crawled, walked, talks and sprouted 12 teeth. She also did extremely well with ditching the pacifier 2 months ago!
* Natalie started talking a lot more once we took her completely off sippy cups, and she's doing awesome on the potty training, now that I finally got my butt in gear to do it!
* Keith's made several progresses at his work, has more family friendly hours & makes a little more money!
