I haven't really thought about my blog this semester, but I have been reading others semi-regularly still. I haven't been wanting to blog if things weren't going well, but I need to get it all out there I guess!
January through now has been a picnic. The kind of picnic that gets swarmed with wasps and fire ants, and the day is fore casted to be sunny and gorgeous, but then it downpours and a tornado whips through too.
Let's see, where to begin. My brother has been staying with me off and on for the last 4 months, most of the time he has his 4.5 year old son with him because his mom is a dead beat P.O.S! She won't even give him an address for him to bring their son back to him, yet she's completely comfortable collecting the child support for a child she has only had in her custody two weeks out of the past over three months! If you're thinking it sounds messed up... it is. When my girls spend a night or two away from home, I miss them after only a few short hours, I don't know how you go 7 weeks or more without seeing your child!
I got a new nephew in February he's gorgeous!
We moved in the beginning of March, same complex... different building... no douche bag neighbors that want to Nazi stomp from 1-5 am on our ceiling and keep our children awake ON PURPOSE, because heaven forbid they got a noise complaint which they ASSUMED was from our apartment. Idiots.
I went to church for the first time in many many years, it was comforting to sort through my thoughts and find a different outlet for things!
My cousin got shot multiple times, but thankfully he's doing extremely well in his recovery!
My Grandmother died, which spurred a unexpected & brief trip to Colorado for her memorial service.
School.... gosh... I'm working my butt off to get everything that I need completed done by next Friday. Homework and concentration have been the farthest things from my mind the past couple of months.
On the plus side, my marriage is doing well and the girls are awesome! They are both learning new things quickly and I'm looking into pre-school for Natalie next year! They did so awesome on the long car trip to Colorado and back! We've been having a ton of fun playing outside now that the weather is nice, get the girls near a slide and you will be stuck there for most of the day... up, around and down, up around and down!
Here's to hoping the next few months go a little better, it will be summer vacation so at least there is one less thing to think about for awhile!
Friday Night Fun...
